‘Good patient communication and the delivery of high quality dental implant solutions with a focus on excellent patient care’, would summarise my current practising philosophy. Thirty years in dentistry sounds like a long time. Luckily, I am still fascinated by the combination of the technical and inter-personal skills required to provide good dental care.
The first part of my career was spent in a variety of general practice roles in the UK, Middle East and Germany culminated with a role as lead clinician in Oxford for Boots Dental Care. In 2004, I started my implant training and in 2006 qualified with the Diploma in Advanced Implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons. I then started to grow my implant referral business. Throughout my career, I have followed the structure of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and gained qualifications MFGDP and more recently FFGDP. I take a great deal of pride in my work and strive to maintain my current success rate of 99% over 8 years and 800 plus implants. At work, I like to enjoy a friendly but professional engagement with patients and staff. Having my working environment organised and carefully planned helps me to maintain my calm and friendly approach. Out of work, I find a whole bunch of things interesting. I like to keep trim by going to the gym, cycling, playing a bit of tennis (in warm parts of the world) and generally being outdoors as much as possible.

Once a member of the British Society of Endodontics in 2001 attending all national, and many European and American meetings he was accepted onto the challenging post-graduate Diploma in Endodontics course. This was done at the world famous leading UK post-graduate institution, The Eastman Dental Hospital, University College London. This was a 2 year course covering academic, scientific and practical aspects of Endodontics and Chris passed with distinction in 2012. In 2014 he left general dentistry in Sandown to concentrate on full-time Endodontics at his wife, Liz Lammiman’s Specialist Orthodontic surgery in Wootton. He is delighted to have the opportunity to join up with Guy again as part of the Portman Healthcare team at Wootton Bridge.
